Advantages

Providing width for attacks through two wingers and control of the midfield with three midfielders. Suitable for teams that want to press high.

Disadvantages

Requires wingers and fullbacks with high stamina. If the midfield is outnumbered, the team is vulnerable to being counterattacked.
